Rating your posts

Each post in your feed has "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" buttons. You can use these buttons to tell FeedHub that you like a post and want to see more like it, or that you don't like a post and want to see fewer (or no more) posts like it.
Don't worry about being taken too literally – FeedHub is smart about interpreting your feedback, and there's a lot of subtlety going on under the covers. FeedHub will won't rock your world (for the good or bad) based on one feedback event!
Click the "thumbs up" button on a post to tell FeedHub that you like the item. FeedHub looks at all of the memes associated with the item and adjusts each one of them to choose more posts.
For example, I got a post because FeedHub believes I like to see posts about basketball, and I like to see things tagged in del.icio.us by my friend Dave Mawhinney. If I "thumbs up" the item, FeedHub thinks I would like seeing more items that are about basketball and more items tagged by my friend Dave.
Thumbs Up Explanation
If I really don't like posts about basketball or posts tagged by my friend Dave, I can "thumbs down" them. FeedHub will then give me fewer (or no) posts about basketball or posts tagged by my friend Dave.
Given enough evidence, FeedHub can detect patterns in your feedback and adjust the memes according to that pattern.
Turns out I'm not really a basketball fan (sorry, Dave) but I do like seeing the things that Dave tags in del.icio.us. If I "thumbs down" posts about basketball but "thumbs up" posts tagged by Dave in del.icio.us, FeedHub will start giving me fewer (or no) posts about basketball and more of the tagged items.
Thumbs Down Up Explanation
Important note! FeedHub is especially skeptical about your "thumbs down" feedback, and reacts a little more slowly to it. In general, you need to "thumbs down" a particular meme about 3 times before FeedHub believes that you really don't want to see posts chosen by that meme.
